On a dog walk

While on the dog walk, at dusk, I took the photo immediately above this text with the iPhone and sent it via the Edge network about 5:30 PM iPhone time. When I got back to my laptop about 6:15 I could see that it was posted here at 5:30 so it just took a minute or so to be live. I am impressed again.
The photo is fuzzy because it was getting dark, but the camera tries to adjust. I could probably clean this up with Photoshop or iPhoto, now that I am back at the laptop. Maybe I will try this to see how much I can improve the quality.
OK, I took a few minutes to download the image from my iPhone to the laptop, spent a minute to adjust the image in iPhoto and then uploaded the new processed image. It is on the right hand side above. The town lights are still fuzzy, but it does look sharper and somewhat better to me. This means that from the field I can shoot and send an image with a little text and when I get back to my laptop I can add more text and improved the image if I have time and feel it is worth the extra time.

The iPhone time as I start to send is- 3:47 PM.
Wow! This post arrived in about 1 minute. The iPhone time is 3:48 PM. I am impressed. It will be interesting to see what happens when I am miles away from Boise.

Proof that the moblog works!
I was connected to a WiFi signal so it will be significantly slower when I am using the AT&T Edge connection with the iPhone. I will try this later today if possible.

Initiating Mobile Blog
Background:
A month ago I started to do this and it did not work. Another Service called iBloggin was available and this worked the first time. I have sent successfully sent several photos to my GOGrimm iBloggin account that are currently viewable.
Yesterday, I was also able to successfully send two photos from my phone to a new Ning network I started called Idaho Outdoor Photography.
